Check out this NY Times article about a summer camp started by Rachel Simmons, author of Odd Girl Out, that teaches 13-14 year old girls to be more assertive and to handle their personal conflicts more effectively. The camp’s ultimate aim is to increase girl self-esteem during those difficult years.
